Whiskey the street dog

_MG_0818-Edit

When I met Marjorie in January of 2011 it was obvious from the get-go that she was a dog lover. She arrived at our first date wearing her name tag from the vet clinic she worked at. Fast forward a few years and after not having a dog since I was a teen, we adopted Whiskey from Bully Breed Rescue. It took some convincing but ultimately it will go down in history as one of the great decisions of our lives.

He came as-advertised, plus 20 pounds. Quiet, stoic, serious. Our vet cleans his teeth with a supersonic toothbrush and he doesn’t need sedation. He was a street dog in NYC and had bounced around a few shelters before he landed in the right place with us. He is, without a doubt, our dog. At the same time, since I work from home we spend every day together which makes him a little biased.

My stoic roni. The best dog.
